HiPP Anti-Reflux Special Formula is ideal for increased spitting up and reflux. It’s normal for babies to spit up a little after feeding, especially when burping. However, some babies spit up more than usual or even forcefully. HiPP AR Special Formula can help in these cases. By adding natural locust bean gum, HiPP AR Special Formula becomes especially creamy, helping the food stay better in the stomach. This reduces the backflow of food into the esophagus (reflux) and thus decreases spitting up and reflux.

Preparation
Please follow the instructions carefully. Improper preparation or storage can lead to health issues, such as the growth of unwanted germs. Therefore, prepare the formula fresh before each meal and feed immediately. Do not reuse leftover formula. Thoroughly clean the bottle, nipple, and ring. Do not warm the formula in the microwave (risk of scalding).
1. Boil fresh drinking water and cool it to approximately 40°-50°C*.
2. Pour the desired amount of boiled water (see table) into a bottle.
3. Measure the recommended amount of powder (see table). Fill the measuring scoop loosely and level off. Add the powder to the water.
4. Close the bottle and shake vigorously several times.
5. Let the HiPP AR Special Formula sit for 7 minutes after preparation. Then shake again briefly and check the drinking temperature (approximately 37°C), e.g., with a HiPP thermometer.
To avoid damaging the natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli), do not prepare the formula with water that is too hot.
Drinking Amount and Dosage:
The amount of formula per bottle may vary individually. Recommended drinking amounts and number of bottles per day are guidelines. Your baby does not need to finish the bottle. Please use only the included measuring scoop! One scoop corresponds to 30ml of water.

Unless otherwise recommended by a doctor. From the 5th month, you may start introducing jars and purees in consultation with your pediatrician. With each new and fully introduced jar or puree meal, one bottle feed should be omitted.
